A Quiet Blogging Week

Just a quick little post about the week ahead.  I have a two night stay in hospital during the week and then a 4-6 week recovery to look forward to.  All is well and the procedure is fairly routine however my blog will be a little quieter.

Our Christmas Tree.

Once home and resting I will certainly be reading and following everyone's blogs.  Before long I'll be back updating my own blog however rest will be coming first.

I think my first post will be how to prepare for situations such as hospital stays.  The lead up with keeping everything up to date, organisation, freezer cooking, keeping up with housework prior plus much more.  So many things which help later.

As we are fortunate to have so much help especially from Mum and Dad I haven't had a need to menu plan for the coming week or two.  They have also been cooking extras for our freezer.

Christmas shopping as well as wrapping is complete now.  I wanted to be extra organised knowing I will need to rest.  Speaking of Christmas we have decorated and our tree is up.  Just love the colours, lights and the feeling it gives us.  Here are a few photos from around the house.

Have a wonderful week ahead and I hope your Christmas plans are going well.

    1. Thanks Cheryl. It certainly made me get Christmas preparations organised. Earliest I’ve ever been with completing all pressie buying and wrapping.

    1. We really do love Christmas here and having little decorations spread around different areas of the house is good because you see it more. Makes me smile. Thanks for your kind wishes Nil.

  5. All the best Kylie and I will be thinking of you. Follow orders and rest, then your recovery will go smoothly. I bet your freezer is full and all labelled, I can just see it:). I love your Xmas decorating. We won't be going all out this year as we will be in NZ from 18th Dec until around 12th Jan. Will put a bit up for the "adult" children who have elected to stay home. Cheers Lyndie
